t Lawyers in America has named him “Advertising Lawyer of the Year” for the New York metro-area four times and The Legal 500 has named him to its “Hall of Fame.” 

Jeff was Chairman of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance from 2014 through 2025 and now serves on the GALA Executive Committee as Immediate Past President.  He also serves as Vice Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce Global Marketing & Advertising Commission and as a member of the Advisory Council for the Institute for Advertising Ethics.  He has previously served as Chairman of the Committee on Consumer Affairs of the New York City Bar.  He has also served as a Director and Secretary of the Brand Activation Association.  He also twice served as Chairman of the jury for the International Council for Advertising Self-Regulation’s Global ICAS Awards.

Prior to serving as IAA’s Global Secretary, he served on the IAA’s Board of Directors as the VP for Government Affairs & Public Policy and also served as Chair of the IAA’s Public Policy Council.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the IAA’s North America Chapter.
