IAA and Mediaspace partner to launch privacy download series

Most Influential Global Marcom Network to Launch Privacy Video Series with Brand New Professional Global Social Platform

The International Advertising Association in partnership with Mediaspace.global launched IAA Privacy Download with Mediaspace, a monthly video webinar series for practitioners globally to translate complex legal issues into easy-to-understand, actionable insights.

This is the first co-product of IAA and Mediaspace after a strategic alliance made on a Zoom call in September. The first video of the series has just launched on the California Privacy Rights Act with Daniel Goldberg, from Frankfurt Kurnit Klein Selz in the United States, available for all IAA and Mediaspace members.

We’re thrilled to announce that International Advertising Association in partnership with its youngest member, Mediaspace.global, the brand-new professional social platform for media, marketing, tech, innovation and regulation are launching a unique video webinar series titled IAA Privacy Download with Mediaspace.

The objective of Privacy Download webinar series is to share knowledge on the hottest topics in privacy law, translating complex legal issues into easy-to-understand, actionable insights for practitioners in the marketing, media and digital space globally.

The videos will be available for all IAA members worldwide and all registered members of Mediaspace.global.

Joel E. Nettey, World President and Chairman of the IAA said: “As the only Global body that brings together all industry players, we find that issues around privacy and public policy are as diverse as the various geographies we operate in. As the ‘Global Compass of Marketing Communications’ therefore, we have come up with these downloads as quick and easy ways of providing relevant education on various topics that will empower knowledge seekers in the privacy space around the world.”

Dagmara Szulce, Managing Director of IAA said: ‘When we published the Privacy Handbook with 80 different privacy laws all around the world in July, we had to recognise how complex this space was even for lawyers.

Now that privacy laws keep changing and no one in the digital space can afford not dealing with such issues, we wanted to help practitioners with this monthly series and provide extra support to our members to thrive in the new normal where time and information is more precious than ever.’

Kinga Incze, Founder & CEO of Mediaspace.global added: ‘The first episode on California Privacy Rights Act with Daniel Goldberg from Frankfurt Kurnit Klein Selz is out. It’s pragmatic and easy to understand – worth watching and downloading the short presentation. You need to dedicate no more than 10 minutes to gain top line signals and pragmatic explanations on what’s happening in the privacy space and what to take care of if you are in digital, media or marketing, with the help of world class lawyers from all around the globe!’

Jeffrey A. Greenbaum, Chair, IAA Public Policy Council, said: “It is absolutely critical that global marketers understand the rapidly-evolving privacy landscape.  This new webinar series will help marketers learn about the most important new developments so that they can better manage the risks and compete successfully.”
