At the 2019 IAA Africa Rising Conference taken place in Ghana, industry leaders focused on the theme “Brand Blocking": Regulations and Implications on New Categories. The conversations went through topics such as what industry participation means to brands, the importance of self regulation to stakeholders and advertising agencies, how visual elements allow consumers to distinguish products from each other, and much more.
