"What's Coming Next at CES 2020" from Panasonic

Matt Frazer informs us "What's Coming Next" from Panasonic Lumix Group at CES 2020

Key Points:

For marketing and advertising Panasonic sees a big future for Volumetric Capture using 50-60 camera positions  to capture in a green-screen environment. Content is then composed to create a 360 image used for everything from spatial marketing campaigns, XR augmented and virtual reality product marketing. In addition, high resolution 360 product captures are useful for product inspections.

For retail and store front space Matt explains that capturing in HDR and creating video HDR walls can really draw people's attention. The images are more vibrant with better black ranges to make marketing content "pop" on screens in a way that captures attention increases customer engagement.

High-dynamic-range imaging (HDRI) is a high dynamic range (HDR) technique used in imaging and photography to reproduce a greater dynamic range of luminosity than what is possible with standard digital imaging or photographic techniques.
