About Our Speakers:

Manisha Kapoor: Before taking over as Secretary-General of the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) in 2020, Manisha has had a long inning as a professional brand strategist and consultant to businesses and organizations. Starting her career with Unilever (Hindustan Lever), and then with Johnson & Johnson India, her grounding has been with global brands and organizations.  Thereafter, Manisha extensively consulted in various capacities with local and global brands across diverse sectors, including several non-profits.

In taking over the role at ASCI, Manisha has tried to widen the organization's outlook from policing the narrative to helping shape it. Collaboration, thought leadership, future-facing initiatives, and embracing technology have been the mantras of the new and vibrant ASCI. To stay relevant and meaningful in the digital world, ASCI is rapidly adapting to the demands of the future.
